ReachOut Pro provides information about mental
health for health professionals that don't have a strong mental
health background. For all health professionals, ReachOut Pro
provides access and advice on a range of online
interventions, tools and resources that can be used to enhance
the effectiveness of psychosocial support and mental health care
provided to young people.
We aim to provide a space for young people and professionals to
connect and create resources for better mental health care and
support, and to help break down the barriers to help seeking.
ReachOut Pro supports health professionals to understand more about
the way young people seek help, and what is needed to make help
seeking easier and more effective.
Recognising the significant role technology plays in the lives
of young people, ReachOut Pro encourages health care professionals
to become acquainted with information communication technologies
and their significance to young people, and to integrate
the use of technology into their practice to better meet the
needs of young people and ultimately improve mental health
outcomes.
