Social Anxiety

Social Anxiety is often called social phobia or shyness. Social Anxiety is the most common form of anxiety. People who experience social anxiety are excessively concerned about what other people will think of them. They might think that others will judge them negatively or will not enjoy their company. These fears often lead people to avoid social events such as giving public talks, meetings (or speaking in meetings), parties, dating or being assertive. When in these situations, people with social anxiety may use drugs and alcohol to deal with their intense fears.
